Harmonious and beautiful or chaotic and destructive?

Probably somewhere in between...It would certainly be more developed, as science would have its greatest adversary fallen, and probably less violent. Imagine if the whole world was rational and logical enough to debunk religion. It would be wonderful, but harmonious and beautiful is probably pushing it.

It'd be the same. Religion is an important thing to society. If it wasn't Islam, Christianity or Judaism, it'd be something else. The need for a belief in a higher power runs to the core of the human psyche. If, however, we were able to castrate the power these religions hold over their followers, the world would be a much safer, peaceful and tranquil place.

If you take all that stuff away then you would need to instill something in the people so that morality exists otherwise there would be no concept of it and chaos would ensue.

However, what if everyone believed in one faith or one set of moral code? Then the population of the Earth could harmonize and set higher goals for itself.

Maybe we should be like Vulcans, scrap all emotion and religion and just concentrate on logic. I'd bet 20 bucks that would work out the best. Of course then we would have debates on what is and is not logical. Ahhh we're doomed.

Excuse me, I am a Christian, but I have to tell you that humans manage to be destructive and chaotic all on there own. So if you somehow managed to remove religion you would still have war, disease, and hatred.

Peace Be With You,

You are describing Heaven, or the garden of eden befor the fall.

Remember the fall came about because of the knowledge of good and evil. This is metaforic for judgment. All of the things you listed are sources that people use when judging others less worthy .

Remove them and the garden is restored.

Love and blessings.

chaotic and lost. Faith is often all that some people have, especially those that have no money. Its religion that encourages people to be kind to one another and take care of each other.

Unfortunately with no accountability other than to ourselves, we'd run amok.
