i talked to some friends and they think God is important to them because
- God will lead him to heaven.
- God can provide good way of life to human.
- God will bring fortune to him.

i talked to another group of friends and they think God is unimportant to them because
- God stops him from enjoy his life
- God does not give him anything
- God does not help him when he is in trouble

God has a plan and purpose for every human life.
You were created by God for God.
Until a person finds that relationship there will always be something missing in their lives. As a result, people are often aware of a gap, like an empty feeling inside.

People try to fill this gap with all kinds of things such as wealth, music, sport, drugs and alcohol or sexual promiscuity. These things provide instant gratification but they leave you feeling hollow afterwards. Some seek success, but all these do not satisfy the hunger deep inside every human being.

Even the closest relationships, wonderful though they are, do not in themselves satisfy this 'emptiness deep inside'. Nothing will fill this gap except the relationship with God for which you and I were made.

At some point everyone ask the question, 'What am i doing on earth?' or 'What is the point of life'. or 'Is there any purpose to life?' Man cannot live without meaning.

God can satisfy our hunger for life beyond death.
He can satisfy our hunger for forgiveness

God didn't take away our free will. That accounts for the problems that exist in the world. However, God is a being that I can turn to that will forgive me and forget the sin, comfort me without questioning the whys (He already knows), picks me up when I fall (and carries me most of the time), watches over me and mine, and made the greatest sacrifice that human can imagine so that I could enjoy the life that I enjoy here on Earth and later in Heaven.

He makes us whole and complete.
Our spiritual need is to be united with God.
I think there is a void, a yearning within us, that only He can fill. Personally, I've gone down many paths, investigated many religious beliefs and philosophies. Most are our attempts to reach God or enlightenment. It was only through Christianity that I found the living God who was actively reaching out to us. Jesus IS the way, truth, and life. No one can come to God but through Him. Yes, this statement excludes the claims of all the other religions of the world. It is valid simply because it is true, even more than I had imagined. When I ventured past my preconceived impressions and logical assumptions of Christianity, and stepped out in "faith", God revealed Himself in such a way that there is no doubt. All the rest are just partial truths and shadows, our vain and feeble attempts to know Him.

Putting my beliefs in perspective I would say that I first see Him as a Father Figure, one that I do not want to disappoint. He has given me sooo much that I have very little difficulty bringing some of my life's issues into compliance. Some issues to bring into compliance require money or His grace and He will provide them.

I totally rely on His word to continue providing me with wisdom and common sense that I admit I was not given a heaping share through my family and life experiences.

I guess because I see His personality traits He seems more "real" to me in my every day events. He is love, wisdom, compassion, justice, understanding. With those traits that He handed down to us you'd think we would turn out to be better people, wouldn't you.

Through my conscience, He steers me in the right direction and I'm not by any stretch of the imagination a goody two shoes, but, the walk toward His acceptance has been amazing. There is no doubt in my mind that good and evil are seriously duking it out in this world. Still, each day I read from mostly Ephesians to keep me on the right path, constantly asking for understanding and He does that. I am humbled every day and I realize that I needed that too.

He has put people in my path that make hard things easier to accomplish and has put wisdom in my head to allow me options to difficult situations - who could ask for more. I love Him and if you are interested, I'll personally show you how to truly get to know "Him" - not some idol people worship and have no clear idea who "He" really is. Once you see His personal side, you'll want to serve Him too.

I think God is important because he created me and gave me life. Only I stop myself from enjoying life. God gives me everything but I don't always realize it. God helps me when I am in trouble and if he doesn't it is for a good reason.

There is only one God. He is the father of all of us. He works miracles for people who walk with and have faith in him. You can talk to God no matter where you are because He listens and He tries to answer your prayers. The more you walk in God's foot steps the better off you will be. I've had a lot of good things happen in my life and it's because I believe and have a lot of faith in God. The people who have problems in their lives it's because they're not walking with God every day of their lives.

He gave the ultimate sacrifice for me. Without God we would not be here. Without God my life would be out of control and full of heartache.
