If you are building any type of portfolio DO NOT go to anyone less than a professional. It may cost a little bit more, but this is your daughter after all and this is what she loves to do. Below are some names of accredited photographers in Philly that can help you out.

Also, when discussing terms with the photographer, inquire about "time for photo" or "time for CD" arrangements. Sometimes, photographers need to work on their portfolios as well. It could be a mutually beneficial situation, allowing you to deal with multiple photographers, and their constituent styles.
