Just being there.
The weather in the summer is heavenly.
Smells fresh. The beautiful landscape composed of red soil and the greenest of greens you'll ever see is downright poetic.
I spent a summer down there and I'll never forget it.
The greatest lobster dinner you can find is about CAN$21, which is practically giving it away given the awesome taste and quality.
Go to the Water Prince Corner Shop, and you will have the best damn lobster in your life, guaranteed.

the water is great, warmer on south shore of Island, great biking and hiking trails, sandy beaches, theatre, historic sites, many local festivals, great lobster, more golf courses than you'll need, good fishing, friendly people. Fun to do? Even a bar scene if you are into that. Beautiful this time of year.

The beach. It's all about Cavendish Beach. They have a cool boardwalk there too- I went to this restaurant called Lucky Duck's on the boardwalk and when your order is ready they said over the speaker " (insert name here) you lucky duck, your order's up". It's sad but that's one of my lasting memories from PEI
