Generally, no. There are possible waivers if you can demonstrate no symptoms (and no need for medications) for the past several years.

Provided it's under control you probably could. I don't know how smart of an idea it is, but if you were able to avoid some of the things that would trigger an asthma attack you might be ok. It's going to depend on how bad your asthma is & how often you get asthma attacks.

Yes & No. Technically it is disqualifying, but easily lied about. However, if you have a serious case in which you are gong to have problems while pushing yourself hard on cardio/runs/etc than you might want to not waste your time. I've known a lot of people that had issues when they were young and use an inhaler every now & then but not really attacks. They've done fine. Just don't sue me if you go that route & keel over dead or if you get a medical discharge a couple weeks in.

Yes, you can. Don't tell them. I spent almost 10 years in the Navy and it never slowed me down.
If your Asthma prevents you from being able to run 2 miles, then forget it.

If it's on your medical records then your going to have problems. I had with my migrains, but if you don't tell them, you could get away with it, as long as you don't use an inhaler and you've got it under control, but please don't push yourself, if you do use one and it does affect your life (e.g. during running) then there are many ways (e.g. civlivan empolyment) that you can get itno the forces.
