I mean, other celebrities have come on, like Steven Hawking and Al Gore and I think in all likelyhood they were the real articles. So why is it so hard to believe that Jesus is on Answers?

(LOL this is a bit tongue in cheek. Not intented to be offensive.)

The original Jesus had been gone (dead if you want, ressurected if you want), for nearly 2000 years!

Even if he was alive in modern times, do you believe he would embrace computer technology? Any technology?

He was Jewish and the son of a carpenter....

Somehow I doubt it!

The real Jesus would not use the internet. Beware of frauds. Jesus warns in the Bible that many would come calling themselves Jesus, but would be in fact imposters. If you are in Christ, then you will know the real Jesus when he comes. Read the Bible---the New Testament, the Gospels, to find out how he will come. Jesus loves you.

The big tip off that this person who claims to be "Jesus Christ" is his foul language. The real Jesus Christ does not curse or say any bad words. He does not harbor bad or ill feelings towards those who believe in Him. Whereas this person who "claims" to be Jesus.

Jesus and God are of love. God gave us (all humans) His son to be sacrificed on the cross for our sins. Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sins by dying on the cross. Would this imitation of Jesus do that? Would he be willing to have long wide nails be driven in his hands and feet and hang on the cross? Would this imitation of Jesus be willing to have a crown of thorns imbedded in his head until blood dripped down his face? Would this imitation of Jesus be willing to be beaten and sliced down his side?

The real Jesus didn't have to go through that if He didn't want to. But He did want to. He took on all the sins (past, present and future)so that people may be saved.

Do you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? Do you believe He died on the cross for your sins? If not, I strongly suggest you should think about it. Your future happiness and peace of mind is in danger if you don't.

Jesus that people worship is dead and this could be another person with the same name. There are many who use the name Jesus - like Jesus Johns who was a singer

Jesus died and rose again 2000 years ago. In his teaching he said there would be fakes out there and to watch out for them. He also said when he does come back he will not be human but spirit and when he comes back he will take his people (the saved) with him back to heaven.
So it is impossible to believe because this so called Jesus is not spirit and is not taking the saved up to heaven.

I guess Jesus just wants to help us out with our answers too.

Or maybe he likes some of the silly questions on here, and figures, hey, I might as well enjoy Yahoo Answers, too, like everyone else. XD

precisely good "question" or what ever it extremely is. For god so enjoyed the worldwide that he gave his purely begotten son, so as that whosoever believeth in him shall no longer perish yet have ever lasting existence. human beings think of that ifyou be "real to your self" you are able to enter the dominion of heaven. yet you are able to purely get carry of salvation by Christ Jesus our lord and saviour. Jesus is the way, the very fact, and the existence. no you may come to the father different than by him.
