Iraq is a middle eastern nation, with one of the largest oil reserves in the world. And this is the main reason why Bush and Blair invaded Iraq. Not for the phantom weapons of destruction, but for the oil that US and UK badly need. Saddam Hussein was just a lame excuse.

I know Iraq is a Middle Eastern country in southwestern Asia encompassing most of Mesopotamia as well as the northwestern end of the Zagros mountain range and the eastern part of the Syrian Desert. It shares a border with Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to the south, Jordan to the west, Syria to the northwest, Turkey to the north, and Iran (Persia) to the east. It has a very narrow section of coastline at Umm Qasr on the Persian Gulf. It is considered the place where a settled society to have manifested all the features needed to qualify fully as a "civilization" first appeared in the world - the civilization known as Sumeria.
They've gone through years of war and changes in leadership. Iraq.

I am actually over here in Iraq, so what would you like to know? You can watch the news, or you can get a real person's opinion on what is actually going on here in western Baghdad, otherwise known either as Camp Liberty, or the Victory Base Complex.

i know that too many US soldiers have given up their lives to go fight a uselss war. i know that too many soldiers have gone crazy w/all the stress of the war. i know that too many soldiers have served in Iraq & returned to the US w/little or no benefits. dam i'm gonna stop now to get another cup of cafe.
