How do you get to heaven?

Jesus said that He was the only way to the Father in Heaven.
You must repent of your sin and believe in Him.

You don't. Heaven is a concept based upon the misguided belief that there is a god or life after this one.

It was a concept created by the early church to make the miserable lives on this plane easier to deal with and to control the population based upon the carrot at the end of life.

Attaining heaven is not an instantanious action, but rather a long journey towards it, that is why we are live...to take on that journey.

To know how to get to heaven, one must know what heaven is...And in essense, heaven is abiding in the love and grace of God for all eternity and giving all glory to Him.
Thus, if that is the case, then we must practice this here and now. Therefore, we must do the following:

1- Repent my sins and be washed from the corruption of this world and be united into Christ, the incorruptable Son of The Incorroptable God.

2- Embark on a journey where we get to know and experience God so that we truly Love Him, as he loved us...and how can you love someone that you do not know and have not experienced? and this is done my constant confession of sin, and growth in spirituality and virtue through the Sacrements and reading of the bible which is His word.

3- Put into practice that love you experience from God by loving your fellow man...when we are filled with God's love, we start to overflow and share that with everyone else.
we do this by putting all the talents that God gave us to use for the Good of our fellow man in a selfless act of service, for the sake of Christ.

4- Then, in the correct time that Has assigned, we die and go to Him and stand before His awsome throne of judgement and here Him say:
"Truely o faithful servant, you have been honest in the little, I will raise you on the great...enter into the joy of your master...Welcome Home, my Child."

According to traditional Christian beliefs, you enter Heaven only by the Grace of God through Jesus Christ. Other beliefs, such as Islam, have a different view of how to enter Heaven. For example, Muslims believe that one way to enter Heaven is to die as a martyr for Allah. Bottom line: to answer your question will require some fine-tuning of the question itself...its too vague.

By believeing God is the almighty who created the heavens and the earth. Praising him for all that he is. Accepting his word as all truth. Believeing that he gave his son Jesus Christ to us as a sacrifice to wash away our sins so that we would be able to go through Jesus to ask God to forgive us of our sins.
