My Chihuahua puppy had her puppy vaccines last week. Yesterday morning we noticed a lump on her leg, where her vaccines were shot. Whenever we touch it, she doesn't yelp or whine.

Call the vet and let them know, but odds are it's fine. I have a kitten that has the same thing for the very same reason, and it's been 3 weeks ago, and it is slowly starting to go away

This is probably the site where the injection was given. If the vaccine isn't massaged into the skin and surrounding muscle, a lump can form. The bump will go down with time as her body absorbs the vaccine. You can apply warm compresses to it which might speed it up.

Call the vet that vaccinated her. Let the vet know about the lump. He/She may be able to tell you over the phone and you won't have to take your puppy back there. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, but just to be on the safe side, let the vet know!

Occasionally a dog will have this reaction to a vaccine and it's probably nothing to worry about. But I know she's your baby and you'll worry, so you should call the vet and be sure. He may want to see her, or may want to see her if it doesn't go away in a week.

She's probably having a reaction to the vaccine. Take her back to the vet so they can make sure it's not causing any organ failures and they can see if she's running a fever.

Definitely call the vet and let them know. There should not be a lump a week after the vaccines.

It's the body's reaction to the vaccine. It will go away soon enough. Don't worry too much about it unless it grows larger.

its most likley just a slight reaction to the injection.
if you want to make sure phone the vet and ask.(a phone call is free)
if it grows, changes,or becomes painfull then start to worry and get it checked out
