Around the top. Eye level will make it appear smaller.

The border normally goes around the top of the cieling, although some people will put it at about waist level, especially if there is tile for the lower half of the bathroom and drywall for the upperhalf. Border then can be used for a nice transition between the drywall and tile.

I have a small bathroom and my border goes on top...the color on the bottom is from the border...so it looks great. Good luck with your bathroom.

you might consider not having a border. borders tend to close things in, it might make the bathroom look smaller

Make it go all the way to the top. It will make they eye travel upward and make the space appear larger/taller

put it where it looks taller, and i think that would be ceiling but im not sure!
