I'd rather run and lift but sometimes I wanna stay at the crib to workout too. Most aerobics makes me hurl but this looks like fun and it is like capoeira which I learned years ago... brazillian dance jujitsu...So, should I buy this stuff by Chalene Johnson? Help?

It has 2 moves that are associated with capoeira. Its basically kickboxing though, jabs, crosses, front and back kicks. I sweated a lot doing it but following a good diet plan and doing Turbo Jam for 2 months I didn't any results what so ever, no weight loss and no inches lost. It was a waste of money for me and ended up selling everything on Ebay and got my money back and then some, which was nice.

I use it and like it. It is a bit expensive for a workout dvd. Can you check at your library to see if they carry a copy? If they do, check it out first before shelling out the money.

I've tried a lot of aerobic tapes and they're too lame for my taste or require too many dance steps that serve no purpose other than choreography. TJ is fairly simple and high energy. Not totally military and yet not watered down. Just MO. Can't say whether you'll like it, but you might want to give it a shot.
