I am flying from Sydney Australia to Manchester then driving to Cornwall. I have booked all flights however the last thing I have to do is find a nice caravan site to stay in while in Cornwall or Newquay. I am bringing my wife and 15 month year old son so need a nice but cheap place. Can you suggest anything ?

Haven Riviere Sands at Hayle in Cornwall might be a good place to stay. Its near St Ives and Penzance, and is a reasonable drive from Newquay. We stayed there this year and it is good for famlies. The address is Riviere Sands Holiday Park, Riviere Towans, Hayle, Cornwall, TR27 5AX. Phone 01736 752 132.

Erm Newquay is in Cornwall mate. You have got a long drive ahead of you (at least 7 hours).

We had an absolutely lovely honeymoon at Riviere Towans. Less party-like than Newquay! http://www.tomsholidays.co.uk

Otherwise I'd highly recommend St Ives. It's really lovely there.

Hendra Holiday Park is superb for families and couples.
Check out their website at http://www.hendra-holidays.com

Loads to do on the site and they have an indoor and outdoor pool.

A large, modern and very clean, tidy and well run site. Family-owned, the owners live on site too, so you aren't at the mercy of hired help and management!

there is a beautiful caravan site just outside Boscastle (on the road to Tintagel) - there is also a wonderful mill close by which has cottages to rent.
