Since no one else can seem to step out of his or her Christian box, I'll give you an actual answer.
Jesus said I am son of God (which is what the scriptures originally translated to say) he meant that we are all children of God including himself.
There is very little about Jesus that we really know. The original writings on Jesus were very little. All that we really know about Jesus (using the only written text that can be dated to when he actually lived) was that he lived, he posed a threat to the Jewish faith by forming an anti-Jewish following, he died and was later claimed as seen again. That's it! All of the drama added to the story of Jesus was later added and borrowed from much older stories and mythology.
The story of Ocyrus, Dionysus and much more Greek mythology was written hundreds of years before Jesus walked the earth, but they match word for word to the story of Jesus. How can this be coincidence?
Ask any theology scholar (How do we know that the story of Jesus is true and Ocyrus and all of the other prophecies are myth?) and you will get the same answer. Theologists say that Satan wanted it that way. That he purposely inspired the creation of all of those other stories to confuse the masses and keep them from learning the true story of Jesus. But, this King James Bible is the true teachings of Jesus because it has been approved by the holy rich kings of the past? They weren’t corrupt at all and the story of Jesus is the real one.
Could Jesus have been an atheist? Of course he could have been based on what we know as fact about Jesus.
Truth is, we don’t know enough about the real Jesus to say much at all in the way of fact. But, the teachings of Jesus (true or false) are a wonderful thing to base your faith in. Whether the story is true or not, loving others, healing the sick, feeding the poor, and sticking it to the man are great ideals in my book. It’s a shame that a lot of American Christians don’t see it this way. They seem to focus on the eye for an eye thing, which is not biblical at all. America could easily feed our poor, heal our sick by giving us health care, be peaceful to the rest of the world by staying the hell out of it. Who would Jesus bomb? How many millions of innocent people would Jesus kill to bring more money to his bank account? Listen to your beloved savior Christians! We are judged by the way we treat those lesser than ourselves. Remember that next time you applaud your new Jesus, Bush.

I assume that this was discovered by you. I will say that this would come as a shock to Jesus, who said, "I am in the Father, and the Father is in me." It doesn't sound like He didn't believe in God (His Daddy)

Jesus or heyzues(spelling it more how it sounds) has no importance to Religion. Although I wish those Spanish would stop naming their kids after our Lord and Saviour, it's not going to give the kid an instant ticket to Heaven or even get him preferantial treatment come Judgement Day. Nor will it help them to say hey God we named our son the same thing you named yours. He doesn't play favorites like that.

What you just stated is an oxymoron. Jesus is the 2nd person of the Holy Trinity, He is God. Atheism is disavowing the existence of God. Jesus doesn't deny Himself.

I'm glad this urban legend is now in full swing. We should call it the Anti-Lady Hope Story.

Stop making **** up and try saying something true about religion. Maybe you'll get somewhere, and even then, our spirit will not be broken!
