I really like thyme, lemon, salt, pepper, and garlic. Another good combination is rosemary, garlic, salt, and pepper. Plain old bottled B-B-Q sauce is one I forget to do but really is classicly delicious.

I've found that the best thing I do to chicken is soaking it in a brine solution first. The salt permeates the meat and gives you that extra time to cook the chicken since it helps it not loose too much moisture while cooking. Of course if you do use the brine make sure to rinse the chicken off after you soak it and don't use salt in the seasoning you add after the brine.

Brine-1/2 cup table salt and two quarts of water mixed until salt dissolved

Boneless skinless breasts--soak 30 minutes in brine
Whole pieces of chicken--soak 1 and 1/2 hour in brine
Whole chicken--soak 5 hours in brine

If you like BBQ, McCormick's dry BBQ seasoning is GREAT! It tastes better than regular BBQ sauce, and it won't cause the grill to flame up!

Also try Mrs Dash garlic and herb seasoning, with a little olive oil on the chicken. Pour some oil on the chicken, rub in the Mrs Dash and let it refridgerated for at least and hour or two... yummy and light!

If you like stronger flavors, try poking holes in the chicken breasts and marinading in Dales Sauce. It's salty to begin with, so if you're on a low sodium diet, use half dales and half water... still tastes great!

Happy Grilling!

Try marinating the chicken in BBQ Sauce (I prefer a Sweet & Mild) and some Honey (I don't measure, just add til it taste good). Make sure its covered real good with plenty extra to spoon on chicken every time I turn 'em. Gotta keep an eye on it cuz it'll burn easier w/ the honey. In my opion, the best part is the skin (I keep it on, but ya can remove if you prefer) when its not really burnt, just grilled a little cripsy, with the sauce/honey cooked in.....mMmMmMmGoOd¸¸,//(*_*)\\¸¸
