The exciting part is coming home safely to tell about your travel!
Joke aside, travelling broadens a person's mind. You get to see how things are in a different country. You see how people live differently from you. Makes you appreciate or berate your present situation. iIt actually makes you appreciate your own life better.
There is much to learn about people all over the world. Diffrent custom, tradition, way of life, outlook on life etc. So much to learn about our fellow human. That is why I love to travel and meet people everywhere I go.

Traveling IS exciting, because there's a whole big world out there, with other cultures, beliefs, languages, ways of life. The more of this world one sees, the more one realizes how much there is to learn. Each new place is a new adventure, and adventure is the spice of life!

Seeing and experiencing new things. To some people this is not something they enjoy. I enjoy museums, natural wonders, local food and meeting local people. I could go on and on for hours with examples. There is a feeling with the unknown that makes for the excitement. To some, this unknown adds to their fear and they don't want to travel.
