Yes, my husband is in the Navy and is going to be deployed in October for six months. My brother-in-law is in the Army and just came off a deployment a couple of months ago and will be deployed next month for over a year. Not to mention all the military friends I have. So yeah I worry all the time. But I try not to let them know and just keep their spirits up, and send nice packages.

no, thank god i do not have a loved one in active duty right now.. but i still care about all those lives lost and the families of the victims.. i just think that we should not be in this war..but i do not agree with a lot that is allowed to go on in this day and age..and i send up a prayer right now for those in active duty and their families...and those that are lost.. do you know that it takes so much out of a person to lose a loved one.. my dad died may 1 2005 and i am still not over that loss...and my mother is in a nursing home now cause she needs 24 hour care...and this hurts so much.. imagine a son of ours being shot to death or blown up...how would you ever erase this from our mind...how could they ever forget....some just to not care...but they are just thinking of theirself and when it hits home then they may wake up....

My cousin is being shipped to Kuwait then has to cross the border into Iraq in a couple of weeks. I do worry about her a lot especially since she's thinking about staying in the military for the rest of her life. Hopefully after she experiences what war is like, she will change her mind.

My daughter is in the United States Army here at Fort Bennings!
She has already been to Iraq twice in less than 3 years time! She is getting ready to go to Afghanistan! She is a Sgt. in the Army! I pray for all our Soldiers and I cry - because of the lost of their lives! I also cry for the lost of lives on the other side!

I have 2 male cousins in Iraq, and I have been worried about their safety ever since they were sent there; but I don't dwell on it. I know they will both be well and return home.

No, there is no one in my family that are on active duty right now. I did have family members that served in the Vietnam War. The hardest battle they fought was to come home alive and thank God they did.

Nope, my baby's safe working in the local University. That a girl. It must be hard for those who do. Another lady at the Uni's husband got it in the neck and she just collapsed on the floor when they told her. Poor thing.

Yes but I'm just as worried as I would be if they were right here. You always worry about your loved ones.
