if you are in australia it will cost you $$$ your doctor should be able to give you a referral. you generally can't abort after 12 weeks or if they detect a heartbeat. the effect is about 2 weeks of heavy bleeding and the rest of your life wondering, i never got counselling and i really couldn't have gone through a pregnancy alone, with a strict parent to try to tell. i wasn't ready and the father left me for his ex that's the main reason i did it. 5 years have now passed i'm 25 and i still don't have any children, but when i see mothers at the schools waiting for their kindergarten kids i think that should have been me, but really i don't regret it! and no i'm not a baby killer i just wasn't ready.

the other people are trying to scare you yes they do suck it out, if the procedure is done before a heartbeat you therefore are removing a peice of you not a baby, i would class a thing with a heartbeat a baby, if you are already too far along consider adoption give it to people who would cherish the gift of a child.

Go to an organization that provides those services such as Planned Parenthood. Do not attempt this at home. I think there are aftereffects especially regarding how one feels about having this done. Physically, I don't know. I believe it is a relatively simple procedure. As a person who is very strongly pro-choice though I would never try to talk another out of doing it. Pro-choice means that one believes that these services be available to all women. Not that I am pro abortion. Sometimes, though it is the only option.

There's different methods to aborting a baby. Mostly they involve cutting the fetus up and scraping it out. Sorry, it's not pretty. Late term abortions are very nasty. They can decrease your chances of having a baby later in life, and I've heard it can be painful, and you might be sore for some time. Depending on the procedure, they inject the baby with a "poison" (i don't know what its called, but it kills the baby) which is then released from the body. That procedure is when you're very early in the pregnancy. The other way is a later procedure, and it involves forceps and the baby being ripped apart. I don't know any of the after/side effects, but you should consider adoption rather than abortion.

Depends on how far along you are as to how you want to murder your baby. They can do one that while it is being born they crack its skull and suck its brains out with a vaccume. You could have a DNC where they take a spoon and scrape it out a peice at a time. OR they just can stick a vacume tube up you and tear it apart. After effects. Well depends on what kind of person you are but physically you could get injured to where you cant have a baby again.
