If I could choose I think I'd rather go in my sleep. Death and dying are always scary thoughts to anyone whether you are a Christian or not. I'm not afraid of where I'd go, but I'm more afraid of the how. There are so many ways a person can die. It would be different if there was only one way a person could die-that way there wouldn't be much guess work. But since there isn't just one way to die, it tends to scare people. Humans tend to be scared of the unknown.
What about you? If you could choose the manner of your death, what would it be?

One of the following three ways: running in a marathon or just out on a training run when I am old and running so hard that I just die, in my sleep, or having sex - all when I am 90 since I have decided that that is how long I am going to live!

The same as John Entwistle from The Who. In bed, in Vegas, with 2 strippers and coked out of his gourd. Sounds better than painfully over weeks in a hospital bed to me. Or in a really horrible way that'll make people puke when they hear it.

Running down a hill and wham, massive stroke! Gone in two seconds, not knowing I'm dead before I hit the ground. In about sixty five years!

Truefully, in bed with wife, and just having finished great sex. I would be going while I was coming and would die with a big smile on my face.
