No, it all depends on what you are both like. Most young men are very young at 13, but it might be that this one is mature for him age physically and emotionally.
Unfortunately in all the cultures I can think of, people can be unkind if they think there is something different going on. So you might have to put up with some teasing from family and friends.
Ultimately the only thing that matters is, do you like this guy? Do you find him attractive? Are you good together?
In a few years your 2 year age difference will be completely irrelevant - and age is just a number anyway.

guys.... esp. all you nice guys out there. You reading this? Just ask the woman out-- whomever you want. What this girl and others are basically saying with a statment/question like this is ' women have no say in who they meet or go out with or when' because they rarely or bascially NEVER do the asking. Am I right? Sure you'll pull up some archaic examples of 'one girl that one time', but for the most part women will breathe their last breath before actually (seeking, meeting, and asking) a man out. the question that was asked by the boy is not strange.
it will problobly be a school boy crush that he has.
try not to worry too much but if him asking u out has botherd you u could ask advice from your perents or teatcher or friends.
u could tell him that u are not ready for a boyfriend as u would soon be studing for your GCSEs and dont need the stress.

well see that is not strange at all what i fell that you must not see his age and try to see his love for you and common even sachin tendulkar is 5 tears younger to his wife so if that boy is good then give it a shot

Guy's ask women out all the time...if you like him than go for it. If not than turn him down...it's not that hard. Either yes or no...just try not to hurt him if you do turn him down...sometimes men get kinda sad unless their the kind that strut.

Guys anyways mature way slower than females. Going out with a guy who is younger to you might just be a pain! he is going to be way immature than you!!

just say no, you are young and he is too young, he may not treat you the way a 16 or 17 year old does, but if you are curious then say yes, just know the limits,,good luck
