What is the first and last Religion?

If anybody can say that one religion is the first and the last i will ignore it coz this people is lier and i will not chose this as a ebst answer just pick one.

The first religion is recognizing Almighty God by what ever name you choose to call and then to acknowledge that we need to respect everything that God has created with dignity being careful not to destroy it, especially this planet we live on.

although islam was not the first religon nor is it the last religion in the eyes of the world ( jesus = christainity, moses = judaism) also as there are people claiming to be form god everyday and hence creating a new religion. I truely believe Islam is the right religion. it teaches tolerance, love, duty, forbids all evil especially that, that we have seen in the past few years, terrorism is forbidden in islam, infact, even in war we are not allowed to attack the oppostion unless it is clearly for self-defense, it preaches oneness and loyalty, it teaches compassion and forbids hate. when spain was conqured by the muslim army the christains had just as many rights as the muslims, they were allowed to worship their own lord in their temples they called it "The Golden Years", this shows the equality, tolernace and justice behind islam, one should not take into account the 0.2% iof the islamic population which resort to violence and encourage hate and unhumaine acts, these people are condemed in islam and arent even considered muslims, for once a person commits an unlawful murder they disbelief in god and are nolonger muslim, the prophet Mohamad (PBUH) said, if one kills an innocent person it is like killing all of mankind (ie it carriers the weight of killing all of mankind). and all those people who are consistent in trying to prove islam as a religion of violenece by using the verses from the holy quran which suit there cause and edit out the rest of the verse which indicates when and where these verses apply to (ie laws of war ect..). so keep and open mind and inshalla u shall see the light at the end ot the tunel which is Islam.

The first religion was probably began when the first humans wanted answers the basic question of life. e.g. What makes the sun come out to make day? Why is fire hot and ice cold? So we started assigning deities to answer those questions. We started thanking him/her them for bringing the day for providing the food. Because, if we didn't, they wouldn't bring the day, or not provide the heat of the fire. So we started Belief and Religion that centered around that/those deity(ies).
There will never be a last.

It is possible that there are as many religions as there are people on this planet, however those without imagination tend to take the easy option like going to a supermarket & pluck one off the shelf that feels good.

First spiritual practice was worshiping of trees, stones etc. No body knows what the last would be. But I assume that by the time of the end of civilization, people would be civilized enough to know that there is no God and there are other aspects of spirituality.
