Hon is her teeth really that bad, I would take you kitty for a second opinion, because I think the vet wants to take you for a ride, and why would a vet want to remove her teeth in the first place, I have never heard of something like that in my life before and I have worked at an SPCA for a couple of years, get treatment before you make a drastic decision like that. I mean really, what is the vet stupid how the hell is the cat supposed to eat

That is very young to have all her teeth removed. Cats as they age tend to loose their front teeth on their own. I would really want to know the root cause for the bad teeth, to see if there is something else going on medically. And I think before I have all her teeth pulled, I would consult a second vet. Think about the consequences of removing all her teeth, eating is going to become very difficult, and can possibly lead to further problems.

Well, maybe get a second opinion. The guy at my pet shop had a cat and they had said that they should remove all her teeth, but then another vet did a special treatment to her, and she kept them and she's fine now. I don't know details, and I don't know what your cat's situation is. Just make sure you find a very good vet, specialised for that. My cat almost died with a problem he had, until I found a specialised vet who cured him.

Take your cat to a professional. During her 6 month check up my vet noticed my 12 yr. old cat had chipped canine teeth that were becoming inflamed. We took her to a professional and he removed the two teeth. Wow, what a difference. It was the best $350 we ever spent...she's like a kitten again.

as long as they are taking out teeth that really need taking out then i would suggest doing as your vet says, if her teeth are hurting her she will eventually stop eating beacuse the pain will be to much.
Trust your vet but if you feel he is being to drastic try getting a second opinion before tommrow just to be on the safe side and to give you peice of mind

I would definitely get a second opinion. Go to a different vet to do it, not one that practices in the same office as your current vet.

it wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion, then you will know for sure if you are doing the right thing.

Just do what's best for your cat in pain or not it's what's best for her.
