If the word fly came first why are birds not called flies and if the fly came first where did the word come from to name it ?

Did not teradactyls fly millions of years ago
Did not teradactyls Have flies too

The object, in this case fly came first and the name was then created to describe the creation.

we named creatures befdore we were cognitive enough to say what they were doing!flying creature was first, thereby the fly! was called the fly because it flew like one of the first creatures that were said to fly!
