As I have numbness on my left side of face and back of my head and although I have medicin, it is not helping and I can not work properly, I am getting worried. Please help me/.

My dizziness and vertigo are caused from Vertbrobasilar TIAs brought on by Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome. For the fact that you are having numbness and tingling it sounds like you need to be referred to a neurologist and an ENT.
Have you had a MRI with contrast recently? Some of these symptoms can also be brought on by migraine.
For the vertigo, I take Meclizine and Valium to deaden that nerve. For the TIAs, I take aspirin, Coumadin and Plaquenil. I reduce my salt load and when I am getting a cold I expect things to get worse as it always going straight for my ears.
Either way, I suggest talking to your doctor and having them dig deeper into why this is continuing.

I know how you feel. Ive had vertigo for about 5 years. Now the Dr's tell me that my Vertigo has got to the extrema range. I get so dizzy that I cant even sit up. This will happen 3 or 4 times a day. And some of the dizzy spells last 35 to 45 min. I am on 9 different types off meds. for it but it just slows it down it don't stop it. And then there are the mental problems that it causes. I don't know how bad your Vertigo is. But mine is so bad that i have to wear diapers! Because I cant get up to go when I have a bad dizzy spell AND because of all the meds. I take most of the time I can't tell when I have to pee so I have to wear diapers 24/7 As if the dizziness ain't bad enough!!! And it has drove me NUT'S I get so mixed up and confused I don't know what to do...From someone who knows good luck youer going to need it......From a REAL Nutcase!!!"""NUT'S"""..PS...did i win....did i win...did i win????
