Well it doesn't really sound right, but then you may have had to be there and/or read the transcript. Was this guy tried before a jury and acquitted or did the judge rule?
If the judge ruled I would certainly have said thank you your honor; because Scripture tells us that God placed that judge there.

I suppose. I think those things are gradually happening now. I don't see this as persecution, though. I see it as a penalty for drawing attention to himself.
I believe in prophecy, but I also believe in having a sense of decorum in the courtroom and showing respect to the judge. Verbal outbursts are not tolerated, despite what they show you on t.v. Judges take their positions very seriously, and yes, there are some crusty old farts out there that would rather be scratching their behinds than dealing with cases. This pastor had a voice. He's called a defense attorney. Attorneys also get fined for contempt when they are out of line. The rules are no different for pastors.

But, if he had said, "Thank you, Satan," he would have been rewarded?
This story appears to be phony, and if it is even remotely true, key facts were omitted.
Judges do not typically throw people in jail for contempt of court based on a whimsy or minor offenses.

It has nothing to do with the verse of Matthew, its simply god's indication to the Pasteur that he is thanking something that he has associated with his. say there is only one god all mighty and merciful, this shall lead you through the Vail of blindness to the light of truth.
IE, choose your religion carefully, choose one that answers all your questions, do your own research and do not believe what is perceived by the media. i found my religion and that is "ISLAM".
i found a light which i didn't see in any other religion, i saw power and peace and most of all purity in it and i will never revert to the way i was because this is the truth not what the medias one-winged bias.
