They say absence makes the heart grow fonder - what bull crap.! Long distance relationships really never work if both are at a young age and there's no wedding ring involved. Heck, even being married doesn't assure your mate that he/she won't get distracted by some one else... you're not there... but someone else is.... a bird in the hand is worth 2 in a bush. My condolences... but really the signs were probably there a long time a go but you couldn't see it. Good luck.

i had a long distant relationship with this guy about 4 months ago and i was suppose to visit him in June so we can go to Disneyland together since he lives in California and we talked everyday for hours about my trip. so i got paid that week and i bought my ticket online and he knew how the plan was gonna go down *get paid, get online, get a plane ticket* so i called and told him and the only thing he said to me was i think we should see other people but you can still come visit and we can be friends sorta like in your situation and guess what i did. And I can honestly tell you it hurted so bad to see him party and hit on other girls and kiss on other girls. so my point is i been there and there is no closure it's only gonna hurt more and please don't go.

There's no such thing as closure sweetie. I recommend you don't go. Giive him what he wants, space. Be sure you let him know more than a few times that you care for him and you don't want this. Then live your life, he is probably scared, maybe you need this. If your the one for him he will really notice you absence, its a mind game, that is what it is. My boyfriend did this and now were married, were 23 it was a 3 month breakup, excrutiaiting for me. Then we got back together. Go for broke then let go. I knwo what your going through. P.S. you need your friends now, they were my crutch on the weekend, that is the hardest time.

You shouldn't visit it seems somewhat obvious that he has met someone else....find your closure by agreeing to end it/see other people and having an open convo with him about his reasoning.Maybe you guys should just be friends for a while...he might want some space.

he wants to see other people because he already IS seeing another i bet you, as painful as it is you need to try and move on away from him. I don't blame you for wanting to see him one last time as closure, but this will hurt a lot more... see him in a few months... not now... you need time alone right now to heal.. I'm so sorry this happened to you. you don't deserve to be treated like that he is not worth you.

with out even having to study any of that, theres under no circumstances a incorrect reason to end a relationship. in case your no longer satisfied, in case your uncomfortable, in case you adult males have adjustments, it doesn't actual remember. no longer all relationships workout habitual and also you mustn't should be stricken about being incorrect for ending it- exceptionally if its lengthy distance! you pick to do whats best for you and under no circumstances do it in protecting with what others imagine.
