I am going to college thousands of miles away from home, every friend I have here is under age. I just recently turned 21 and absolutely love the bar scene, but I don't have anyone to go with. What should I do?

Do you have a job? I am moving to NC in a month and I don't know anyone at all and I have this same concern as I want to go out and meet people when I get there. I figure I will meet at least one person to go out with from my new job. If no job and you are not too shy to go alone than try that but be careful.

It's not very easy. I have done it before. I usually sit at the bar and talk to one of the girl bartenders for awhile. Eventually somebody asks you to dance and then I try to dance with somebody else before I dance with that person again. Once, I went alone and somone asked me what I was doing there alone. I looked at my watch and said, "I was supposed to meet a friend here an hour ago and I am late. I am going to stay awhile and see if she comes back. I am trying to get ahold of her on my cell phone. I hope she isn't mad at me." It worked out just fine and I stayed there for three hours. It also gave me the opportunity to meet somebody to hang out with for awhile.

Just buy a keg for your underage friends and have a party.
