Oracle is an RDBMS(Ralational database mgt system). In an application it serves as a back end. Here all the data are stored. Now to interact with the database you need an language - this is called SQL or structured query language. Now in an web based applcation you also need a server side script that helps you in interacting with the sever dynamically. You can use either ASP, PHP or CGI. C, C++ are programming languages that are used in applications or software packages. C is a structured language. C++ is just a modification of C which includes the class concept in addition
