They ask because they dont know. There are two ways to gain knowledge: First hand experience and second hand. First hand goes with acquiring knowledge by doing the things yourself. You observe, create hypotheses, experiment and then form conclusions. Second hand is acquiring knowledge from other poeple who have already found out. You can read books, watch films, go to school. But the most common form is you ASK another person who knows. Kissing and sex are not very readily easy to experiment with. Simple reason being they require partners. For young, growing up, financially incapable people, "partners" dont come in handy. They have to go thru the birds and bees stuffs. Just to find out how to kiss and have sex. And what if the experiment fails?
So technology evolved (as humans evolve, you say), and it produces Yahoo Answers! A very effective tool in dessiminating information. Now, you dont have to go through the trouble, nervousness, "what if's" of asking your mom how she and dad did it. You can just ask millions of total strangers, whom some are more than gladly to tell you their first hand knowledge. Cheap and easy source of information. Better than spending so much money on the gifts you give to that hot, cool, sexy, cute chick at school that you've just dying for and fantasizing about just to find out she's made it out with a dozen other guys.

Many reasons provoke to ask this question.... most common is lack of self confidence, ppl get nervous whn they have to perform it...
... and other cud be to get stimulated, to talk fishy, to start tht kinda conversation wid someone hoping tht something can happen between them in future if talk on these issues....

Well....... because they are still learning! We don't know everything and so in order to know we ask, surely there's nothing wrong with that or is the? The one that doesn't ask is the foolish one so don't get pissed when people ask.
