Don't bother following any diets. Diets make you fat! All that worrying about what you're putting into your mouth, then feeling guilty when you slip up, does nothing for your self-esteem or self-image, which is the important point.
Its more a state of mind, and having genuine reasons for wanting to lose the weight. If you grow to love yourself you'll only want to put good things into your body (no smutty comments, thanks!) and want to keep it healthy, and the only way of doing this is to avoid all processed foods, buy everything fresh and plan your meals the week before, when you do your shopping. Cram as many fruits and veggies of as many different colours as you can as they are full of vitamins and will give you the energy to go onto the next phase of action, which is to be more active!
Walk to the shops instead of taking the car, take the stairs instead of the lift, walk a little faster to get yourself out of breath, and find something you can do out in the fresh air. Getting fresh, clean air and seeing nature in the countryside is the best relaxer and peace-giver there is, so spend as much time out there as possible.
Do this, as a change of lifestyle, rather than just until you lose enough weight, and you'll keep it off and feel good enough about yourself to maintain a healthy weight.
Most importantly, the happier you are, the better you will look and feel. So do whatever it is that enriches your soul (as long as this isn't scoffing a whole tub of Ben & Jerry's!) and BE HAPPY!!

You have a BMI of 30 which makes you barely obese. 19 to 24 is normal. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Plus click on "Pure Water" to make sure the water you drink doesn't hurt you. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

first and foremost you need to drink at least 2 litres of water per day, it flushes toxins out and will create a feeling of fullness. Try to eat more fruit and vegetables and have only food you have cooked yourself rather then the low calorie chill cook meals which are basicly over processed rubbish. Try to avoid crisps and all the obvious high fat snacks, opt for nuts and seeds which are quite delicious as are dried fruits (they really are try them and see) most importantly try to eat little and often as skipping meals does not help and can result in a feeling of weakness and can lead to wanting to stuff yourself with anything you can get your hands on! (i know, i have been there!) There are various drugs available from your g.p which may help but I would try to lose the weight yourself slowly and steadily as often the side effects of these drugs are unpleasant. Good luck!

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

There's no such thing as going on a diet, it's changing your diet. IIt's finding out what foods work out best for you. I cut down on bread, pasta, and cut out potatos. Oh, and exercise. Are there places where you can go for a good walk?
Also, don't deny yourself the occasional treat or you will make yourself miserable!
