my cousin downloaded it onto my laptop and i hate kazaa cause it comes with all the spyware crap.. anyways, i go to remove it and i get an error saying 'setup has encountered an error, please close all other programs, clear your temp internet folder and then try and run setup again' the error code is 6001 if that helps

Through the control panel add/remove programmes is correct and definitely the only way out, if it doesn't come with an uninstall function on your startup.
I can't really remember how I dealt with it, but my friend had this spyware removing programme installed as well, after we removed it from my desk top and we got rid of it for good. Perhaps you would like to go onto a secure site to search for such programme.

i think kazaa is the most freakiest sypwareiest program i've ever used. go to control panel > add and remove programs. then find kazaa on the list and click "change/remove" or "remove" whichever is next to it. that should do it. if not, i'm out of ideas

Add and remove software under your control panel..then remove the kaazaa mess.i hate that.
