I believe the Air Force Academy is more reliable and up to times. Not only can it give you the up to date training but it gives you more of an cutting edge. The police Academy can show you mostly civil means of doing things. In the Air Force not only can you learn civil but you can learn Government means as well . You can choose many fields with in the military including justice as well as any field of Law . The limits are what you place on your self. You can be out in the field with hands on in a matter of weeks. In the Air Force you can also cross train if you wish to a more sophisticated field in Law or onto another field if you choose Police or law is not right for you . Unlike in the Civilian world you would have to go back to school or collage for a different carrier field all over again . Whats the difference ? Air Force has so much more to offer and hey for those that want to know the Air force has schooling free and collage unlike unless you get a free collage grant. So if you have a chance and the know how go Air Force Cross into the Blue because only select get there and love it . I wonder why i know lol...... So choose Air Force Academy You'll learn and be better at what ever you choose to be.

Depend on what you wanna do with your life. Police Academy teaches you how to be a cop or detective..thats it. The Air Force Academy opens you up to all kinds of stuff in the Air Force, so if you decide you dont want to be cop when youre all done, you can do something else. Graduating the Air Force Academy requires you to sign a commission for 6 years though.

I like police academy because there is where my interest lies as compared to air force academy.

Why is it have to be an academy. Think out side the box think in 3D, so ask your self do you wanna shoot a guns at the locals or at people from other countries?. I say get the video game Grand Theft Auto and play the role of a police, fireman, or any thing you want and see how you like it. Thump up dude and good luck in your academic pursuit. ;o)

My Dh has been in the Af for almost 20yrs. I think if you weigh the benefits you get, especially education wise, you will see the AF fars exceeds the police Academy. By the way he is a Cop in the AF...
