No parent has an illusion that their's is the best young one. If annoyed, it is because they want to see their child is appreciated for what all they do. The concern sometimes reaches a level to compel. The cause why they behave should be understood. There will be more speaking sessions.

Yes, but I went through several years during which I wasn't. I'm go to be on speaking terms with my mom, even though we rarely agree.

YES- but have had periods of trouble with them.
We had a big fight and didn't speak for a year.
I felt this was wrong and contacted them. We worked things out and I'm glad we did. I'm better for having them in my life.

no ,because they are dead,but life is to short not to be speaking to them,if you have fallen out with yours swallow your pride and make up.When i was young i went 6 weeks without speaking to my dad and years later long after we made up and got on with life i still regret it
