I'm a homeschooled 7th grader and I enjoy it very much. I happen to be a very shy and self-conscious girl, so this is quite perfect for me. On the other hand, I don't have any friends and I never get to be with boys (darn)! So I'd say homeschooling is much better than "real school" 'cause you never have to go through peer pressure, sickos who bother you or trying to get your work done with other loud kids. And if you're responsible AND get to socialize with others in outdoor activities, why not go with homeschooling?

I homeschool all four of my kids, two fifth graders, one third grader and a preschooler. I trully do enjoy it, and so do they. It is alot of work to get everyone up and going when starting a new subject, but worth it all the while. We do sociallize as much as we can and try or best to get out as often as we can. It takes alot to run a proper homeschool and to be homeschooled. You have to be able to work on your own, and not afraid to go out and make friends yourself. It really all depends on your personality and your will to be at home with you kids or will to be taught by your parents.

I homeschool a 3rd grader and a Kindergartener. They love it, I love it. We can go on our own schedule. If we want to go to the zoo, we just jump in the car and go. If we want to see the state capital, we jump in the car and go. No complaints.
