ahaha, it depends on the moral foundation, spiritual values, and up bringing of the kids. But generally speaking, nowadays, kids at that age range are incorrigible.

17 is not to be trusted, but the 12 should rat the other out. Unless 17 bribed 12! But you can bribe better! Good luck! You want to know the BEST and (only) cure?! Raise 'em right in the first place, and you just might be alright! If you raised 'em right, you should trust 'em! (And not ask strangers for advice on how to raise your children!) I Raised my little sister mostly (9 yrs. difference) and now she (sometimes) gives ME sound advice. But our parents sucked too. Try actual parenting and spend time with your kids, it's been proven to produce results. And it's a HELL of a lot more effective than spending time on the internet asking about your kids instead of getting to know them, finding out their concerns, and actually being interested in what's going on in their lives. A good tan and looking good at the next PTA meeting does nothing for your children! Invest in your children, and they just might invest in you! You've probably got a stock portfolio. Want to invest in your future? Teach your kids a thing or two! Log out! The next answer is not as important as your children! But you're gonna read it anyway. Dumbass!

I don't think siblings would be playing 'doctor' with each other. Friends yes, Cousins maybe, but I don't think there's anything to worry about unless there has actually been a problem. Besides -the girl is much older than the boy so it doesn't seem likely.

There is unlikely to be a problem due to the fact that girls are more sincere and mature and they understand relations and abuses better. And the age gap would also make her more protective towards her little brother.

it all depends on children, my three were left alone alot, when they were 14 and younger, due to their mother working and step father was at sea but when i visited they were okay being by themselves. you have to trust sometimes but also monitor
