in my own experience, age really does not matter. It is not the age in itself that matters, but the maturity of the individual. if two individuals think and/or feel that they are already mature enough to handle a relationship, then so be it. but you must always remember that maturity always comes with age. so to speak, a relationship between 12-yr old and a 20-yr old is not the same as 22 and 30. both individuals need to be mature to have a serious relationship.

depending on both ages and the difference between them, it's all relative. for example 24 and 30 is obviously fine, but 20 and 14 isn't. also maturity can matter more than physical age

Hah yeah your right...age doesnt matter.

How can any one say that lol. Maybe it's cause I live in a fast paced area where 2 years is a HUGE difference in culture, maturity, knowledge and ethic...But seriously people, you think it's ok to date some one who's a good 10 years older then you?

Only two types of older women/men: One's who take advantage and one's who are on the same level as you (thus showing that they are STUPID for their age and cannot mature).

I had this discussion with my friends from webdate-dot-com. We all think that age doesn't really matter, as long as the people involved are aware of the kind of relationship they are going into.

In relationships age does not matter as long as both partners are of age.

In all other things I think the law says it matters so...lol

What matters is not the age but the maturity level.Which i believe improves with age.But it is also not necessary that any elder one has more maturity level than any younger one.So wen u choose someone keep his maturity level in mind. That ur vibes match each other

may or may not be, depending upon the situation. Suppose in the age of say 60's you want to study more things, want to do a hard job, you can do.but sometimes,.situation arises that age makes a man a failure person.

Should it matter? I'd think not.

Age is just a number. It's just like your hair color, height, ect. Everyone has their own preference, but there are no guidelines as to what is acceptable, as long as you are OK with it, then what others think means nothing.
