I had the same wedding dress, well I had one from David's that was Ivory with Apple Trim. My girls wore tea length, halter, apple dresses and I had a flower girl who had a dress that was a mini version of mine. It was all perfect and the colors coordinated fabulously! If you're having Jr. Bridesmaids I would reccomend that you put them in apple as well just a different styles. Having them all in the apple red will really accentuate your dress so my reccomendation is to make the maid of honor and jr. bridesmaids different by having them in different style dresses and as someone already suggested, perhaps different jewelry and different hair. I just had my maid of honor wear the same thing because I liked the dresses so much. It's your day and you need to make the decision in the end! Congrats and good luck with the rest of your planning. To see pics of how our colors coordinated you can take a look at our wedding website. http://normandandjessica.weddingannouncer.com and look at the photo album section for wedding pictures!

Unless you want to introduce a new color altogether, I would put everyone in apple colored dresses. As for making the maid of honor look different, my sister carried a light wrap and also had straps put on her dress (the other dresses were strapless). The easiest way to do it is to find a designer that you really like, and choose three different style dresses in the same color. That way they'll all match because the dresses are the same fabric - but your maid of honor, bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids will all have slightly different styles of dress.
If you have the other girls wearing ivory, especially if they are in different dresses, you may have a problem with not standing out very much. With four different styles of dresses up there including your own, you probably want to be more different from the other girls than they are from each other. I hope that made sense. Good luck choosing!

I'd make your bridesmaids dresses apple, including the maid of honor. To distinguish my maid of honor, you could just put her in a fancier dress of the same color. I gave all my bridesmaids necklace and earring sets as gifts that *happened* to match their bridesmaids dresses (helps everyone coordinate) and got my maid of honor a fancier set of jewelry. Also you can give her a bigger bouquet to carry, although, especially if your other color is ivory, you might want to think about an alternative to bouquets - I had my bridesmaids carry albino peacock feathers, tied together in a ribbon of the other wedding color. If you can get a hold of some, they're actually ivory colored and very nicely delicate. I'd put the juniors in ivory with much simpler dresses. Anyway, it's your wedding, do whatever you want! Also, the best place to pick bridesmaids dress colors is at the bridal store, sometimes you don't know what you want until you see it! I know all my wedding-color plans changed once I got in and saw what was available.

When my best friend got married last May, she wore a very simple white gown and carried an enourmous bouquet of white lillies. Her two bridesmaids however, wore dresses with the same neckline (no straps and straight topped) but no flair at the hemline but the really amazing thing was that their dresses were black! Black, yes and do you know what, all three of them looked absolutely stunning! It was the most syilish wedding party I have ever seen (it did help that all 3 all totally stunning anyway!).
I know this doesn't answer your question, I just wanted to share it with you so that if you are still wondering on colour schemes etc, maybe try experimenting a little, you might just be surprised at what you come up with!
I hope you and your husband-to-be (sorry about the sexual stereotyping if your partner is a woman!) will be really happy, healthy and wealthy in your futures together!

From the names of your colors I guessing that you got your gown at Davids. I would have all the girls wear apple. You could go with separates and that way you can customize the look, add a sash of ivory for the MOH, or have her in an ivory skirt with apple top. Also, davids has an apple gown with ivory trim which is gorgeous and would be perfect for the MOH. Put the other bridesmaids in solid apple. Your whole wedding party will be gorgeous.

For my sisters weddings - we did ivory, apple and black - her bridesmaids wore black / the flower girl wore apple and the maid of honor wore a black velvet shirt with an apple red organza skirt - it was beautiful

your MOH could wear apple in one style with a bigger boquet and a different hairstyle, the B maids could wear a different style gown and the JR 's could wear a 3rd style gown all in apple,or use seperates and have each group pick the top that suits them esp, the JR's,or MOH wear apple,B maids wear ivory and Jr's wear apple.each group have a different color and/or texture bow on their bouquets. the wedding sounds beautiful, congrats, best wishes,Robin

I would say they should be in apple and it would coordinate awesome with your dress. Any other color would just look goofy.

Go to Davids bridal or your local bridal shop and ask them to show you colors of dresses. Then match them up to your dress.
Good luck!

you can always go with different styles for each group of girls and stick with the same color combos.
