As Christians preach the Ten comandments I don't recall "weed" being one of them unless it was the five of the 15 Monty Python dropped then you are doomed.

How can using a prescribed medication...no matter what it is...be wrong?
My opinion is that God put a number of wonderful plants on Earth to give us relief from disease and pain, and gave us the intelligence to discover ways to prepare them.
Follow your doctor's advice, and you will be in compliance with the law and, in my opinion, Divine will.

Considering that God grants man the "use of everything born of seed" no, it is not sinful- it is not even sinful to use it recreationally- UNLESS it distracts you from God, and becomes a focus of your life. If that occurs, you are sinning because you are abusing a gift from God, and not using it responsibly.

Cancer patients sometimes smoke weed to help stimulate their appetite......I really don't think God would begrudge them anything that would help them. No...if its for medicinal purposes and not just to escape life then it's not a sin to my mind.

What is considered a sin is abusing your body. It's not a sin to drink alcohol either, if done in moderation.
