I have been wearing lenses for around 3 years now. I use the Johnson and Johnson daily acuvue lenses. My question is how often should I have my eyes tested {I wear glasses too}. And does anyone wear there daily lenses for longer than a day. Obviously I clean them and put them in new solution. I use them no longer than for 3 days.

I wear monthly lenses, I leave them in all day, all night for a month and pitch them. It's great, I'd never go back to dailys.

Anyway, you should get your eyes checked every year. And I believe that you can't even buy/order contacts with a perscription over a year old.

and yeah, it should be okay to wear them a little longer than a day but I wouldn't sugguest it. Daily lenses are designed for Daily use. no more, no less. they don't let your eyes breath enough after too long and that can do major damage. So when you're really in need of lenses, go for it. But I wouldn't sugguest it for all the time.

I've been wearing lenses for almost 4 years but my eyes have been bad for about 16 years. I wear 30-day lenses which I get from my optometrist (spelling?). She makes me take an eye test every 18 months. If you wear glasses only then you are encouraged to test your eyes every 2-3 years.

my lenses r for upto a year of constant wear, though docs recommended to change them once in 6 months - that's how regularly I do a check up. but there's no need as such unless u have irritation or sore eyes or other problem.

GET CHECK UPS YEARLY. I WEAR THE 30 DAY CONTACTS BUT I ALWAYS WEAR THEM FOR ABOUT 45 DAYS, IT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING, THEY JUST BECOME KINDA HAZY EVEN AFTER CLEANED THOUGH. IF YOU CAN STILL SEE OUT OF THEM AND THEY'RE CLEAN THEN I'D KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING.

Put red hot iron rods in your eyes no more eye problems.

My understanding is that you should have your eyes tested yearly.
