OH, NO! I must change my view because alberto is using the liberal tactic of calling me a name. It does not matter that illegals are just criminals or that they are not a 'race' nor an ethnicity! It also does not matter that I have never posted anything that even comes close to showing a dislike for any ethnic group, or that I am against all illegals no matter their ethnic background. I have been labeled by someone who holds an untennable position, so I must back down or face another name calling!

WOE IS ME!
Alberto with superior name calling skills has won again!

Totally agree. If they ever want to stop it they have to hit the employers where it counts. The pocket book. But not just the cost of deportation. I'd add in the cost of the agents time to investigate too.

That might make it tougher for illegals to get jobs I like it. However why not have the employer fined for hiring an illegal and have that fine on top of the fees you mentioned and have that fine go with the illegal when he returns to his homeland so as to help him financially back home.

Seems like you punish the employer further than necessary. It will make any kind of reporting of illegals impossible. It would be up to the government to track down such illegals, probably without any kind of help from employers.

I know some businesses that get fined already and I have heard they are going to increase fines for employers caught.
