I've known this person since we were in 5th grade. We also went to highschool together for most our years. She's abit strange (gothic kinda) and I'm not. Not sure if that matters at all, but I myself am a VERY shy person. I've only dated twice and I can't see myself with anyone else but with this girl.
She means more to me than she could ever guess, but we've been friends for a while now, but we don't see eachother anymore since Highschool, but chat once in a blue moon online.
What should I do? Should I tell her how I feel, or have I passed that point and should I forget about her? I can't see doing that, but please, any suggestions would help.

If you have known this gal as long as you say... then there is a bond of friendship there that SHOULD make it a no brainer. Just talk to her... I bet she already knows, because I bet you have told others and it has already made it to her ears... grow a pair and tell her how you feel. It is better to know than NOT... after all there are two possibilities 1) You get the girl OR 2) You don't, and that leaves you at the same point as you are in currently... except you don't have the stress of not knowing if she might feel the same & it will be easier to move on.
Trust a man who went through it in my youth... Years later, at her wedding, her MOTHER actually told me that I missed my chance. Hows that for a real let down? If I had only had the balls at the time, who knows how different life would have been. Just talk to her :)

Since the 5th grade now that is just plain amazing.
Get in contact with this woman and arrange a meeting maybe coffee something quiet where you will get an opportunity to talk and then you must speak to her from your heart if she reciprocates the feeling then you know it was worth it.
If not you must try to move on because in my experience sometimes we focus so much on past experiences that we overlook the most amzing experience in the present.

Go for it!! Tell her you value her friendship more than she will ever know, and ask her if she'd like to give dating a try. There are only 2 possible answers... one being yes and the other being no... worst case scenario being she wants to remain friends only and you will still chat with her online. I think that you should start talking to her more online and once yall start talking more ask for her number and call her occasionally. If yall dont talk a lot...dont rush into it, it might scare her away. Just start with baby steps and see where things go and make your decision from there.
OH...and it shouldnt matter to you if shes gothic or anything else...if you like her then its for who she is not how she dresses. Dont be afraid just because of what other will think...

you are agonizing and stressing about something that you do not know the outcome of. ask yourself what is the worse that could happen? She could say, no. What is the best that could happen? She could say yes, and you go out.
now, is hearing the worst as bad as taking a chance as the best alternative? Just ask her. You will at least know either way/

See your shy.... send her an email about how you feel. you were able to tell us, so i say write it out in an email and hit send. for all you know shes to shy to tell YOU that she is feeling the same way and you just need to break the ice. keep in your mind that you totally feel for her and this could be your last change,.,., good luck brandon:)
