She is not a person to trust in. I think it is better you to stay away from her before she hurts you badly.

What did you do? If you hear he has hurt her don't be a prat who stands and does nothing while she is getting hurt, RING THE POLICE. Why did you break up? If you think that she might think n anyway shape or form that you done somting wrong then send her a sorry card and emails. Become friends with her friends other than this other guy who sounds like a nasty piece of work.

She must like abusive men that is why she has nothing to do with you a women that has been in a abusive relationship sometimes feels that that is all she deserves and ends up pushing the good guys away. Leave her alone she may end up telling that abusive x that you are bothering her and want him to take care of it. I ts not worth it.

I would encourage you to entrust the decision of returning to you into her hand. Let her come to you when she feel she should. You don't want to convey an overbearing image. Try being her friend for a while and see how you feel about. If your emotions towards her have not altered at the end of this predesignated time then let her know of your sentiments.
Good luck!

Take care of yourself is foremost! You have planted an emotional seed now step back in the shadows and let it germinate.. You can't predict the future. She has to make the final cut with her boyfriend. Patients usually wins out.. Don't set around home and pout, go out with your friends and enjoy life.......

If you love something, set it free.
If it comes back it was meant to be.
Once a liar, always a liar. Personally I think she was just stroking her comfort zone, and she chose you to help her with that.
I've also lost the love of my life (who promised to come back after six months). We are currently friends and can talk about anything. It hurts like hell, but at least he knows I care about him and I am there for him. I am married to his worst enemy, but still he accepted that. Just be there for her when she needs a shoulder to cry on.

she is hung up on him, you know the old saying "you never forget your first love:" you need to make her realize this guy is trash, it sounds like you really are not interested in being friends, you want her to be your girl, confess your feelings, its gonna be hard, but in the long run will save you a lot of frustration

Don't confess. Don't go out of your way to give her attention, however when she is around be really nice, in a positive "all is cool with the planet" kinda way.
