I am familiar with the fire codes books from the NFPA... is that what you're studying?

If you look closely, many of the codes are repetitive... applied to different environments.

Study smart. Find codes with the same wording first. Memorize which coding number for that wording goes with what environment.

Then review the codes specific to individual environments (e.g. combustibles storage).

When reading the book, act like you're teaching it to someone else. and in a energetic way.. maybe that'll get you rethinking and rereading the pages and absorbing more? I have no idea. I was always so bad at reading boring stuff in social science and geography classes. But when I'd study, I'd "pretend" I was teaching (although just in my head, not out loud) .. anyway I always made honor roll. I don't know how, .. I think I'm a good actress.
