If they are teaching how to do then at some point they must have been able to do,
Right? What happen to make them not be able to do?

I think I've got it. Those that can doodoo, do. Some can't so they seek the relief of laxatives. Others are so full of it-there is no issue. Some need to learn to doodoo, some can teach others to doodoo. A good example of teaching to doodoo; is a mother of a toddler, trying to ween the child from diapers. Do do I make myself clear? If not, hear is a quote; Those that voodoo can doodoo, those that can't ask those who do. Some will teach, others will give advise.

I was riding in a taxicab this morning and there was a female dispatcher on the two-way radio. She was dispatching the cabs to various addresses and the usual dispatch chatter was going on. Suddenly, the dispatcher asked? ... Michael Hunt, are you out there... Mike? Do you read me? ... Mike Hunt, Mike Hunt... Come in, ... Come In... Come in Mike Hunt. I don't know why this seems so funny to me- it was just a cab ride.

I couldn't stop laughing. I think something shot out of my nose!

The question is flawed. For example, I was not around during World War 1 but as a history teacher I have researched the subject and DO teach it to those of the younger generation who have, as yet, no real knowledge. I have NEVER been a member of the armed services.

I am able to teach Mathematics but I NEVER devised Euclidean geometry, Pythagoras' Theorem, integral Calculus, Pascal's Triangle, Matrices, Algebra and many other concepts.

I teach for a more lofty ideal than just the pay at the end of the month... I want to pass my knowledge on to the next generation.

I teach because I can do, not because I can't do.

Its a vague statement which has little truth to it.

For example, take an English teacher - according to the statement they can't do what..English?

The correct statement should be...

Those who are after monetary satisfaction do, those who want to give something back teach.

i always think those who can't teach always can do and those who can teach always cannot do. and very often those who cannot teach also cannot do and those can teach also can do. and those require teaching often cannot do and those does not require teaching often can do and also those require teaching often cannot do and those does not require teaching also cannot do. what the heck...

what i suggest is that for those who can teach don't do and those that try to do, don't do. and those cannot do teaching try not to do. lastly i urge those can teach and want to do, but cannot get to do, try not to do.

The proper quote is...

Those that can, do. Those that can't, teach.

And it happends because some "teachers" think they can just read a book or two and know enough to instruct the masses.

Those that can, do
Those that can't teach

They are teaching because they can't. They only know how it can be done. They can't do it themselves. Think of football coaches, and you will see.

BTW, Those that can't and can't teach, go into politics.
