Guru literally means teacher. Most associate the word guru as a spiritual master of types.
Often a guru is a teacher of Yoga, but as many still have not realized, everything is yoga. All yoga is, is the practice self actualizing in a spiritual manner. Working, playing, sleeping, having sex, relationships, driving, meditating, eating, literally anything can be a form of yoga that teaches us useful lessons on our journeys back home to God's Bosom.
In essence a guru is not particularly just someone out of anyone, but literally everyone is your guru, if you chose to learn the lesson that is in store for you.
A wise adage says, "Even a fool has his story to tell". The question isn't who our guru is, but more so, will we listen when we realize Guru is everything, including ourselves?

a guide in general matters of spirituality ..don't need one, but there fun to have for a wile.
gurus generate shakti a [emotional /non physical energy] which is a drug and should be avoided.
truth can be perceived directly though esp... no middle woman/ man needed.

life force---the devine goddess---is every were like air , so we don't need any one to establish a link [ WITH AIR-LIFE FORCE]so the guide part is overrated.
no guru --should be believed in as a god...never heard of any guru that didn't have faults---even though there followers...can not see there faults.
believe in your self.....meditate...chant-some,focus on a mantra.[FIND THE HIGHEST].deepest, and most fun.:)
focus on a mantra...woulnt print focus above????
peace
