I'm always getting told by my stupid *** sisters who is about 10 years older than me..."I can't do this task, I don't understand anything in life." at my age. Also adding..."I am useless!" What makes them better than me??? They have screwed up lives too!
Ex: I don't know anything about real estate, business finances, babysitting, being strict on kids, cooking.
Gosh...and it goes the other way around when they come to me for help.
Ex: They don't know anything about computers, online banking, and other things I do know but they do not!
Since when did the world require you to know everything?!! Tell me I'm not alone. Lol.

This is family. Life is like that. Just take it and get over it. Just like what they said: "One ear in, one ear out.".
When you are confient enough to stand by yourself, you will not feel to bad. Remember, they are your family members and they love you.
Incidentally, you don't need to know too much. You may think you need to know a lot, but in actual fact, there is a lot you do not need to know and already know. Just be yourself. It's okay.

No, you are NOT alone. I am 53 & sometimes I feel just as frustrated as you do about people & the world. My family didn't approve of my lifestyle either! Don't worry about what they think, because they aren't going to be paying your bills when you're on your own (you may be already). Someday maybe you could each teach each other a skill that the other one doesn't know, but I wouldn't hold my breath, cuz it may NEVER happen.

You're not alone! Every person has things that he's good at and things that he's not so good at. And people should understand that, because if they did we could all help each other out and make good use of the things we know.
And it's SO true, like you said people who always criticize have screwed up lives too!
