landis looks strong at moment but theres are some good teams (T mobile and rabobank) that look good, and some inspiring newcomers so i expect a surprise before the podium.

Landis will quit cycling after this TDF to have hip replacement surgery. So he won't be a multiple winner like Lance or Lamond. And after dropping to tenth today he may not win at all.
I think its great that he cracked. The US has won 7 straight so it will be nice to have a european or australian win and even better if the americans missed out on the podium.

I hope floyd can hold on and win! But I think this will be his last. Only winning one tour is great but doesn't but him at the same level as Armstrong or Lemond. Too bad with the hip he will never get to truely show what he is capible of. Mcdixon

As many fans now know Floyd has a degenerative hip due to a loss of blood supply. It causes him excruciating pain in certain positions. If climbing out of the saddle is painful, I think he'll be doomed on a couple of the HC climbs in the days to come.
