No.
Go for it.
Just make sure that your best friend's bro is right for you.
Don't just take him for a rebound. :}

it's good that you're leaving your battering boyfriend, but stay away from your friends bro. 1) Both you're friend and their bro will view it as a rebound, not matter what they say 2) never wise to mix in with friends' relatives. You can risk destroying your friendship and not be welcomed by the family for it

clue in kid
If your BF is beating you, then get out and fast, he is no friend.
Simply switching to his brother fails to get you very far off.
Make sure that you ULTIMATUM a no hitting policy,
and leave the FIRST time it fails (no matter why).
Being hit is NOT your fault.
Sticking with an abuser IS your fault.
Altogether too many girls go from one abusive situation to another and fail to understand why they are abused.

ANY guy is better than a wuss who beats you. Go for it. I would see if he's interested first, though. And if so, then make sure you guys are open about it with your friend early on, b/c it will be 10 times worse to keep it secret and have her find out later.

No of course not.. but please give yourself some time before you go out with someone else... or it mat make things complicated with your new friend, epically if your ex is abusive.. just give things time to settle down a bit then enjoy your new life without that asshH0le..

Women that are abused almost always find another man that abuses them.
The fact that you're already planning another relationship while you're currently in one sends up all sorts of warning flags for me.
