Personally I see no reason why women shouldn’t take (or have) a more leading role in world event’s or even the running of society as a whole. I mean The da Vinci Code aside I see no reason why this hasn’t always been the case, history has often been replete with periods of matriarchal rule of some form or another. There have been periods when monarchies were dominated by powerful women: Nefertiti , Queen Elizabeth and Katherine of Aragon to name a few. I’m not saying that a world run by women will be any better than a world run by men, but we’ve never seemed to get beyond this gender bias when it comes to political power.

I agree too big of a fuss was made over the da Vinci Code, especially since it was a work of fiction. I am neither denying nor affirming Mary Magdalene's place in the life of Christ, but either way, that is no excuse to throw all caution to the wind and claim anybody should or should not do anything. Rule of Thumb: A man or woman should not base his or her world view on a work of fiction.

Women shouldn't rule the planet. It should be equal for all.
Wouldn't this just end up flipping the situation? Men (if there are any left I suppose) will end up in the same boat as women have been in the past.
Women aren't compassionate. They are sneaky bitches and the world will end up being a shallow and hateful place.
I'm all for women getting equality, not special treatment.

Although it would seem logical that women would do a wonderful job!!! Women will never rule anything. It's just not the plan. As soon as strong Christian men are ruling the world as was designed and ordained by God, every effort made by man or woman will be greatly blessed.

Slowly women are starting to "rule the world". More and more, women are taking higher positions in business and politics. The men in high places are backed by strong independent women. Look at Bill Clinton...we all know Hilary was the actual one running the show, not Bill!! lol

As a woman, I will say; Just because someone is a woman does not mean she cannot be corrupted by power and end up being as much of an a$$hole as the men are being. It needs to be equal. I hope the pendulum does not swing TOO far the other way, we will all be in just as much trouble and chaos.

Acceptance will come. It's inevitable that Women will rule, as they are becoming superior to men everyday. And when Women are finally in charge, the world will be a much better place.

And yet, we have yet to elect a woman president in the United States after more than 230 years. Because women will not vote for a woman. Go figure.

I know what you mean, people don't want to accept a woman in charge...take for instance the holy spirit who is a feminine deity, people have changed her around to suit their needs as men to be superior. So they change religion to suit their agenda. Exodus 6:3:
"I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob by the name of El Shaddai, but by my name Yahweh I was not known to [perceived by] them"
El means god, shad means breast and shaidai is plural, el shaddai meaning god with breasts, There are those who refuse to translate Shaddai as "breasts", however, the parallelism of the language used in Jacob's blessing, in Genesis 49:25, emphasizes that this is the correct translation.
Also oah in hebrew makes the word feminine, eloah translates into Goddess, Eloah is synonymous with Shaddai, the Feminine God
"Can you claim to fathom the depth of Eloah? Can you reach the limit of Shaddai?" [Job 11:7] "Then Shaddai will be your delight, and you will lift your face to Eloah." [Job 22:26] "Can he be happy with Shaddai? Can he call on Eloah at all times?" [Job 27:10] A similar verse is, "Now what portion does Eloah allot from above; what fate does Shaddai apportion from Her heaven?" [Job 31:2]
The Hebrew Ruach ha Kodesh is the phrase that translates into the Holy Spirit. Ruach is feminine, and the Aramaic equivalent ruah is also a feminine noun. These words are paired with feminine verbs and pronouns. The Holy Spirit is feminine, and is another designation of Eloah.

I think it is high time that women called the shots but I also believe it highly unlikely they will in the near future as their compassionate nature is at odds with the ruthlessness necessary to obtain and maintain power.
