I am Mormon and I can say that we believe in Christ. He died on the cross for us, was resurrected and is God's son. Many people don't listen to us and hear us. The real name isn't Mormon it is Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We believe in Christ and know he lived. We also believe that he came to the Americas.... there is so much I could share. Check out this site... any more questions let me know.

mormons minister will always say mormonism is christianity. But the bible categirized the belief and works of mormons to be anti-christ. why? for many reasons such as the following:

1. Joseph Smith the founder practiced polygamy and adultery.
2. Mormons doctrines allow/practiced polygamy.
3. Mormons teaches that Jesus Christ is a brother of Satan.
4. In their doctrines it states God the creator was once a human being like us and exalted himself above to become God
5. They claim that the book mormon is an extension of the Bible, but the contents of the book of mormons is unbiblical.
6. and many, many, many more...........

some morons are Christians and some Christians are morons....

oh, you said Mormons - my bad.

Mormons thought that Jesus came to America and kicked it with some dude who started that dam cult thing that is now into child marriage... kind of the same but in a different way from what some catholic priests have been doing to children.

A mormon can be defined as a christian since he
(1) accepts Christ as his Savior,
(2) worships Christ and covenant to follow him,
(3) is baptized in Jesus' name,
(4) partakes of the sacrament (the holy communion) weekly to remember Jesus' sacrifice and to remember his victory over death,
(5) prays to the Father in His name,
(6) considers Jesus as his Savior, his Redeemer, his Lord, and the author of his faith and hissalvation.
Sure behaves like a Christian.

They are not Christians. They are just mormons with their own doctrine that does not follow the word of God. They only way to the Father in Heaven is through accepting His son Jesus as their savior..

Mormons believe in all of christianity's precepts and have added on some other stuff. They still worship the same god and have the same books, with additional visions given to some colonial settler by an angel that said marrying more than one woman was awesome.

Its very easy to explain. Christianity is a reality. That means that a Christian follows the Word of God and grows in faith through the Word. The more a Christian turns to the Word, the greater their faith becomes. By the way, The word of God is Jesus Christ.

Mormonism is a cult. That means you do not have any input in this religion. They, dictate to you what it is they want you to do, to think, to eat, to everything. They put their religion first before God. Most religions do the same thus breaking God's first commandment.

Need more information, read and study your Bible. Everything you need in life is there for you from God Himself.><>

Here is the definition of Christian from the Merriam Webster Dictionary site:

Main Entry: 1Chris·tian
Pronunciation: 'kris-ch&n, 'krish-
Function: noun
Etymology: Latin christianus, adjective & noun, from Greek christianos, from Christos
1 a : one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ b (1) : DISCIPLE 2 (2) : a member of one of the Churches of Christ separating from the Disciples of Christ in 1906 (3) : a member of the Christian denomination having part in the union of the United Church of Christ concluded in 1961

Mormons believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ, so by definition they are Christians. Also, why would his name be in the name of their church if they weren't? The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It says in the name that it's his church.

I think what you want to know is when Jesus was resurrected, he visited his apostles and Jerusalem. Then he left them for another part of the world, the Americas. He visited the people there and let them learn about him. He refered to them as my other sheep to tend to.
I used to be Mormon but am no longer.....

A Christian is defined differently by different people. To be short, they're Christians because they believe that Jesus Christ was their savior and the messiah.
