Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

In the long run--diets don't work. In order to make weight loss permanent, you need to change your eating and exercise habits.
My best advice is go to to a nutritionist and have them map out a sensible eating plan. They will let you know how many servings of protein, carbs, fruits and veggies you should eat. They will help you understand portion control. I went to a nutritionist for one visit only--and it was enough to get me on the right path. Also, get moving. Exercise increases your metabolism--a faster moving metabolism burns more calories. Start walking--also get some weight training in as well. If you ahve more muscle than fat, your body burns more calories. It is a long process if you want to lose that much weight--and it takes a tremendous amount of commitment. It can be done. I lost 85 pounds in the past 3 years---all from changing existing habits, eating healhty and exercising. It can be done. Good luck!

I would try joining one of the many weight loss programs.
Weight Watchers - eat what you want, learn portion control, group meetings, roughly $14/month.
Jenny Craig - buy their prepackaged food (hella expensive up to $100 a week), one on one counseling.
LA Weight Loss - Expensive, but they teach you how to eat a balanced diet with 3-times a week weigh-ins and one-on-one counseling.
Slim Fast - You buy the shakes, meal plans offered free on their website.
Curves - No food diet recommendations, but a 30-minute strength training workout 3 times a week.
South Beach - 3 phases, the 1st is no carb, no fruit, little dairy. Then Phase 2, you slowly add some carbs/fruit/dairy back in, Phase 3 is maintenance.
HTH - GOOD LUCK!

There's only one weight loss program that everyone in the medical field agrees on.
The plan requires you to do two things:
#1 - burn more calories
#2 - reduce calories you consume
The best exercise for burning fat is NOT aerobic exercise. It's resistance training. This will help you build and tone muscle. Many women avoid this type of exercise because they don't want to get bulky. (If you're worried about this, go talk to a bunch of men and ask them how insanely hard it is to bulk up - it takes a ton of muscle to look bulky). The reason you want to build up some muscle is to help burn calories. Muscles need a lot of calories to sustain themselves so they will help burn fat 24/7 (assuming you aren't over eating). This is CRUCIAL to keeping weight off. Muscle improves your metabolism so if you can't make it to the gym for a week, you don't put on 5 lbs all of the sudden.
It is important to realize that when you first start exercising your weight will go up. This is because you are putting on good weight (muscle) that will help you loss bad weight (fat). Don't even look at a weight scale for a couple months - it'll just discourage you even if you're making great progress.
Aerobic exercise is great for reducing weight, but it's long term efficiency is not as good as creating lean muscle. But don't avoid it, it's great for your heart and lungs.
Diet. Eat a balanced diet - not because it'll help you lose weight, but because you should. ;-)
The key here is keeping calories under control. Eat until you're not hungry rather than until you're full. Cutting out all the "bad" foods is pointless unless you have an iron will. Go ahead and have a guilty pleasure, but in moderation (a cookie with lunch is fine. eating half a bag is bad)
Fad diets can be useful for burning off fat initially, but are not good long term solutions since they are so easy to quit. Also, for every major fad diet, there will be a new snack item created to ruin that diet. When low-fat became a huge craze in the 80's and 90's everyone started to make low-fat junk food. When Atkins became a huge craze a few years ago, everyone came up with low-carb junk food. Yeah, you can eat those under the rules of the diet, but it's still junk food thus bad for you.
You'll notice I'm pretty vague with exactly what exercises to do and what to eat. That's because it'll differ for each person. But no matter what you do, just remember you need to burn more calories than you eat.

I would try water aerobics its very fun plus your kids can come with you, or you can go alone depending on weather you want to sign up for a class or you just want to spend some time in a pool. You can walk from the deep end to the shallow end. Move your arms in the water like your pulling them from your sides to holding your own hands. You can mix it up just as long as your moving around and pushing your body. Don't forget you have to drink plenty of water and eat fresh fruits and veggies everyday. Good luck, I know you can do it!!
These places might help.
(I know your not a senior but at least it gives you an idea of what water can help you do.)

don't do the 3 day diet.don't "diet",how bout that.change your LIFESTYLE instead.eat healthy for life.not just to lose poundage but to stay healthy for always and you will be happy.eat right, meaning,at least 5 fruits and 5 vegetables a day,8 cups of water a day, chicken and fish over red meat, whole grains over white bread, and you will be healthy.don't eat too many processed sugars or too much chocolate or soda or junk food.that will def. help you lose weight.and also exercise.AT LEAST 30 minutes a day.it's good for your heart and longevity.and also in your case,to lose weight.join a local gym if you can't exercise at home or walk outside or whatever.eat healthy, exercise, and it WILL come off.those stupid fad diets and diet pills don't work.lose weight the natural and healthy way.it works BEST.goodluck =)

Lord, I've seen so many people pushing all kinds of fad diets like cabbage soup tonight.
I keep posting it. Weight Watchers. Moderation is the key. You lose weight slowly, but it stays off. They teach you how to eat to keep you from gaining anything back.
Any kind of exercise is good, as long as you get up and move your butt! Exercise is exercise. Anything you do will burn calories. Its calories in, calories out. I swim and do yoga. I love both. I also walk a lot. Do what feels good. Dance, walk, whatever gets you moving.

I do not know about 3 days diet. To lose weight what you need is discipline. You need to eat mostly veggies and fruits. Cut down carbs, put more protein. And exercise: walking, running, jogging. Cutting down portion I think also will contribute to weight loss.

I think weight watchers would be good or you. They teach you how to eat properly. Avoid refined sugars and eat more veggies and fruits and less meat. Limit pasta as well. Try to walk at least 20 mins a day.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/calsburned.htm
Get a diet and fitness calculator that you can put on your computer or cell phone. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/weight/bmi.html
It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:
http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/carbohydrates.html
Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/PyramidLRG.gif?osCsid=26a424be471d1337e7c2f105d5c64d9d
*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.
Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with resistance training routines that will not get you bored is "Muscle and Fitness". Signup for the free newsletter. An excellent free online resource is at http://www.exrx.net/
A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.
*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Send me an email or yahoo instant message to "gainbetterhealth" if you want an indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have any questions.
*Click on all the source links below to get the full benefit of the recommendations.
